Trailer Xbox Series X PC PS4 Xbox One

Here is as announced earlier this week the first look gameplay teaser of Assassin's Creed Valhalla that premiered during Microsoft's Inside Xbox episode. Ubisoft's game will also benefit from the Smart Delivery technology, allowing you to buy the game once on any Microsoft console and be able to play it on either Xbox One or Xbox Series X.
Update: 4K/higher bitrate version added.

Thanks a lot for this in high quality!

I was expecting an actual gameplay demonstration like a developer walkthrough, but I will take this. Though I wish the trailer's runtime was longer, it had very little gameplay scenes. I wonder if Ubisoft will make an E3 like conference in June, July or August to show more in-depth gameplay. Maybe on the GamesCom Digital event or the PC Game Show. Can't wait for more videos and news.

Not very happy with the music choices for the trailers so far. Norse music is incredible and i hope that the actual soundtrack will be awesome.

Yeah, some of the new tracks from the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla soundtrack were debuted during the 8 hour long artwork by Bosslogic. There was a track around the time he was adding the furs to the shoulders that was really great and emotional, that would have been way better for this trailer. But then again I love games' soundtracks, while for people who only play 5-10 games a year, they prefer these edgy music videos with popular radio songs.

''Gameplay'' I hate these false advertisements from game publishers.

On this, we agree. Not a single moment of gameplay, unless we count cinematic scenes and fly-cameras as "gameplay". More like in-engine than anything else. The worst thing is that Assassin's Creed games are massive, utterly massive - I finished Odyssey + DLCs in 185 hours.

They could have showed a fort being invaded or a raid battle, that's like 3-5 minutes of a 100-200 hours game. I bet there will be 80-100 forts, showing one and the new combat system wouldn't take anything away from the game.

Oh welll... I'm not in Marketing and have never understood withholding gameplay from games that are 6 months away just to them dump a bunch of trailers in the 2-3 months away from release - looking at you Mass Effect: Andromeda.

King Alfred is in this game so I suppose we should be seeing King Aelle and maybe Alfred's grandfather Eckbert.
That was Britain. For the Vikings, I hope Ragnar and his sons are in this. 'Vikings' show on History Channel is probably the most well known and perhaps even the most influential vikings live action medium out there. I can't see Ubisoft not using that for a lot of inspiration.

I suspect Ubisoft may give some nods to God of War 2008 too.

Laughing my hats off at the amount of (deserved) dislikes the video is getting on the various official Ubisoft Youtube channels, maybe they'll get the message that labeling as GAMEPLAY means GAMEPLAY.
