Electronic Arts and DICE revealed yesrerday Battlefield V which as expected takes place during World War 2. Besides multiplayer modes the title features single-player War Stories and the cooperative Combined Arms. It will launch October 19. JackFrags made a great video talking about all the changes to Battlefield 5's Multiplayer.
It will be a much more tactical game focused on team play, which from the comments sounds like a dream Battlefield game for many fans of the franchise.

PS. Game2k, there's a 2160p version of the Battlefield 5 (Reveal Trailer) on Battlefield's YouTube channel. I know you guys hate YouTube quality - I do too, but this video's quality is around 25000 bitrate at 2160p resolution. Not the ideal for 4K, but still much better than YouTube's 1080p and around the same bitrate of many 1080p videos here on Gamersyde, so might be worth checking out as the quality is very good imho.

Some of the reasons why JackFrags says BF5 will be much more focused on team play is because of the changes to many core features like not regaining full health, starting with less ammo, taking more time to revive downed team mates, etc.
An example is the Medic class, since now you can't regain full health, you will be relying on a medic more than in previous games. Same for the health regen mechanic, that now only heals till a certain amount based on bars - i.e. if you take damage and go to 20 Health, it will only regen health till 33 Health (1 bar), if you want to regain full health, you will need a medic.
The JackFrags video covers much more details, there's a lot of info in it, which is why it's 25 minutes long. I also recommend the EuroGamer and Kotaku articles, I've read both and they go into even more details of some things JackFrags just mentioned.
I don't play BF multiplayer, so my opinion is most likely irrelevant, but I really liked the trailer - even though it's very "CoDified" - and wanted to learn more about the game.
For insight from people who actually play BF multiplayer for years, I recommend to read the comments in the JackFrags video or go to the Battlefield Reddit and see what they think about BF5 so far.
The ammo health thing is kinda nice. It'd be interesting if they went full Overwatch and made certain classes excel against specific enemy types.
This sounds like just a little bit of that though.
I didn't say it was the same, just offering the extreme

You could argue that squad revives remove something from the medic class, but the fact that they're redoing the health system should push back against that a lot. Those changes mean a lot to me, in both good and bad ways. I like assault medics in BF2/3/4 a lot.. so in a sense I'm a little sad that they're not going back to that kind of medic, but I also think the changes could have a positive impact on the medic role. Health regen (thanks Bad Company!) has had a really bad influence on the kit since BC2.
And removing area of effect hp and ammo is a huge change that I'm not 100% on board with either, but could have a positive influence on the pace of the game. It's not any of those other games after all. Hopefully it does its thing in a way that makes sense to BF5.
