Final Fantasy XV has finally hit the sunny shores of PC gaming, so we have put our GTX 1080 Ti to good use to give you some high quality footage to watch. The 4 Nvidia graphics options available are pretty demanding, but even without them on, maintaining a steady 60 fps frame rate in 4K is not achievable when the rest of the game is set to the highest setting. What we did is we scaled down the 4K resolution to 75% and only left Nvidia Hairworks and Nvidia VXAO on for the first 3 videos, while we deactivated VXAO in the last one but turned on the other 3 (Nividia Hairworks, Nvidia Turf Effects and Nvidia Shadowlibs). Enjoy the footage and let us know what you think of the port.

It should be since the store page for the DLC only says "Play Game". It does not appear in the DLC list installed though. Considering the size of the game (more than 75 GB, I reckon it was downloaded immediately).

Ok, so because steam is just the dumbest thing ever, apparently I didn't have the texture pack installed, and there was no way for me to do so. Only way I found was to launch the game from the store page pf the pack, then quit the game and miraculously it finally appeared in my DLC list and I could tick the box.... I'll add one video asap. I just love to waste my time. Sorry about that.

That would be Nvidia Hairworks. it's the same model but without it applied in the 2018 demo.

game looks like a huge leap over the original base game with that beach sand and Nvidia foliage.

I'm really interested in the MOD features this will have. SE says it's going to have a level and quest editor. I would really like to see some Weapon Bosses and quests added to the map of FFXV; similar to like FFVII.

The engine shines immensely on pc. the lighting and landscapes outshine even MGSV's E3 2013 demo. on the other hand, MGSV still beats FFXV with better skin shaders. the skin quality in FFXV is a bit lackluster and has too much bloom. especially with Prompto who glows at times a bit too much.

All and all, this is a very impressive port with lots of extra features to boot.
