The very promising Assault Heroes will be available on the Marketplace tomorrow, and Microsoft had the nice idea the send us this very nice gameplay video. Finally a really good game on XBLA!

It looks fun, let's hope it plays as good as that video. Small Arms looked good until I played it, not to say it sucks completely, but definitely not worth 800 points (10 bucks).

So if they are charging 800 for this, it better deliver.

compared to Steam who would charge 20$+ for this kind of games including Roboblitz the arcade Devs are giving great deals.

What, because $10 is breaking the bank? Last time I checked, $20 was considered a low-budget game. This is half that.

Anyways, this looks awesome. Even if it's not perfect, I'm sure it'll still be a lot of fun.

The graphics arent that great. A couple of friends and I have achieved way better results with OpenGL on PC, however, I dont care about graphics as gameplay is King, and I will buy this game. Also, the recent success of games in XBLA has me pumped to create a game for it. I just need to find the time and the right people. It is either an internship or working on an indie game for next summer. I hate making such decisions....

Roboblitz is the same price on Steam as it is on XBLA.

I don't know if I would call them deals, but most of the arcade software is fairly priced. Lumines should have come with the advance pack, is all, even if it cost more in doing so. Oh, and Doom is totally not priced correctly--and the demo should have been the same as the shareware, not one level.

This looks good though. I wish all of the good XBLA games weren't basically the same genre though. They all owe a good deal of their control to Robotron, and we've got plenty of Robotron-likes on the arcade already.

I assume this will have an online multiplayer mode/ or co-op?--multi would seal the deal for me.

So basically it's Geometry Wars with 10x the gameplay, for only 2x the price. Definately worth 10 bucks.

Live Arcade titles are not low budget games, they are WAY BELOW low budget.

Not really these are the same low budget dev teams that you see on low budget titles and don't compare the bargain bin versions of big budget titles, since that is not the same.
