GSY Review PC PS4 Xbox One

A bit more than a year ago, Capcom brought back Resident Evil 2 and did it right, making not just fans happy, but also younger players who had never played the original. For a while the Japanese developers let people thing that they were just considering doing the same for Res 3, waiting to see if people would truly be interested, but it is clear now that the project had already been in the making. After completing the single player campaign, Blim and I decided to discuss the game in a commented video of our own. We hope you'll enjoy the super high quality of the following footage, recorded in 4K on the PC version fully maxed out.

Geez, is the OG RE3:Nemesis that short?
"The park and the Dead Factory no longer exist while the Clock Tower makes only the briefest of appearances. The courtyard outside of it sets the scene for a boss battle, but you never actually go inside. It's heartbreaking to see such vital areas from the original experience left by the wayside, especially so when the title is already rather short in the first place. The cherry on top is that spiders and the Grave Digger boss fight aren't actually in the game at all."

Lol.

Ok, what the hell ? That does not bode well  for future remakes.

Damn Capcom went on this with big scissors lmao. The amazing RE2R almost made me believe they would do similar quality RE3 until i got to play the demo and broken Resistance MP..

Steam deep sale it is.

People gonna be furious if they cut any enemies/or locations in eventual RE4R.

The cuts are more than unfortunate, especially the clock tower, but the game remains better paced than RE2R and I would even go as far as to say it does most things better.

I think the RE2 remake was  way overrated last year, it was a good game but there was truly nothing exceptional about it and it was also very short despite all the backtracking it imposed. To me, the same can be said about RE3.

I think they should have dropped the multiplayer component of RE3 to add the deleted content of the single player content, but even as it stands, I still think it's a much more interesting remake than 2 was.
