Since it was first shown at last E3, the 3DS has become one of the main expectations of 2011 in terms of new hardware. Knowing that Resident Evil: Revelations will be part of the list of exclusive titles, one can only look forward to seeing more. At first glance, the least we can say is that it's shaping up well.

Still fairly low poly and low res maps but it does look very good for a portable game, there's no denying that :)

Nonsense. The 3D slider on the 3DS only adjusts the image, and does not affect processing power or communicate with the software thats running.

Only if there'd be an option for this. But I doubt it. It would not work with the 3DS.

(actually this is all my theory.. The slider just works as a hardware-adjuster.)

Oh hey, this looks really good. And it seems to be a return to the old games a little bit with this zombie-like creature...I never played RE 4 and 5 because of their departure from the old style..oh well, maybe I will check them out someday just to know the story.

RE 4 is worth playing for anyone, very accessible for non-fans. I'm not a fan of RE, but I still could appreciate how excellent it was.

Except for the QTEs. And the Napolean castle which came out of nowhere, and dragged the pacing. And the last jetski chase.

This game actually doesn't look that impressive graphically when you are looking at games like Rage and Infinity Blade for iphone/ipod, but nintendo's handhelds never have been about graphics its been about content and interface 3D will be a welcome gimick it should be interesting to see what they do with the accelerometer and camera on the thing Nintendo is brilliant when it comes to these things.
