Yea, didn't you realize that the more incredible cutscenes were in engine videos with added post processing and other effects? Some of the poison ivy scenes and a whole host of others.

It's easy to tell on the Xbox because the video cutscenes are less crisp than the realtime ones. Of course, there is more going on...

Many games, even uncharted 2 is using in-game pre rendered cutscenes, not real time. So its nothing new.
Most important thing is that these cutscenes are "in game" rendered by game engine. Not CGI.

Blm can you confirm tearing?

There is some talk in teh off furums about severe tearing but Im not sure since I will not watch it.

Funnily enough, I paused it at one point and some pretty horrific tearing was apparent. For the most part though, it isn't too much of a bother - especially when the game looks as gorgeous as it does.

Just stunning, i have never wanted a game as bad as i want this game!, the sound effects also just mesh with the whole look and feel, and bring the whole thing to life.

@Dohr07:

There are different builds of the game floating around, some more polished than others, i'm sure the Gold build will be even more stunning.

I think Im overwhelmed by how insane and awesome it looks but what is most important to me its yes again the atmosphere man,I think I never played a game like this with that type of narrative I was instabtly hooked by Alan's voice and all the sounds,I only saw like 3 minutes of that video but OMFG sooooooooo goooood!!!

I watched all 12 minutes; I absolutely love it.

Game looks fantastic and that was a nice tutorial to get the player use to the game's mechanics. The writing sounds like it's going to be great, and with how much I've been reading and listening to audiobooks lately, this sounds as if it'll right up my alley.

What excited me the most was that there were clearly a number of moments purposely placed in there to allow the player to truly take in what was going on, but the person playing was playing too frantically and in a hurried pace to really take in the little things.
