Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

They go on to say that the light tagging is really satisfying, and I can somehow imagine it being just that so hey, consider me somewhat intrigued.

Inscrit depuis 7041 JoursOn the podcast they kinda settled on it's an Uncharted 1 for the 360 where, if Uncharted was an action adventure through an Indiana Jones lens, this is an action adventure through a Stephen King lens. They mentioned that during daytime there is some light story exposition, and during night time you'll encounter some minor puzzles, the latter fitting rather neatly into the Uncharted comparison.
No climbing in this one though obviously.
I dunno, now that I know that the action is a focus and that it's a uniquely thought out and addictive aspect of the game, I'm actually looking forward to it. It's starting to make sense in my head finally.

Inscrit depuis 6910 JoursI also wouldn't be remotely surprised to see something similar to, like in Splinter Cell Conviction, where the story at the time has direct and meaningful impact on the game's combat mechanics. Since Conviction, I've become very fascinated by the thought of other developers taking similar risks, or creative license with the established game mechanics. It shouldn't only be the story that expands or progresses forward as you get further into the game, I'd very much like for the gameplay mechanics to come along for the ride as well.

We have a few different methods of doing facial animation - in-game using FaceFX and motion capture used in cinematics. While I think it'll always be possible to get "fugly" single frames out of any game we definitely learned a lot doing Alan Wake, and will try to improve the way we do things to get best possible looking facials. In fact, we're using some of the improvements in the DLC production already.
It's not alone a matter of the method how or where the facial capture is done, it's about the run-time animation techniques available, skeleton setup and so on. It's a complex problem trying to dodge the Uncanny Valley.

Inscrit depuis 6961 JoursI think they mean the shooting aspect grift, like jolli stated and i agree i went into uncharted expecting a tombraider 1 type of game, and what we got was Gears in the jungle.. and a plot.
yes there is shooting in tombraider (1) but its never the heart and soul of the game, the adventure is.
