From the information of this post the M60 seems to be the best LMG - again. Why should it? It's a lesser MG3 in every way, yet it has double the damage and the best accuracy. I hate that gun, why is it the best? I'm hoping for good iron sights at least...

But I think I'll just go with the G3. It was beast in BF2 and by the stats it should be the same in BC2.

But then again, I run into many situations where a huge ass clip just means the difference. Oh well, decisions decisions...

I don't know what it is but I just HATE using MG's in games.. I don't really feel like playing with them..
I look forward on using that M14 mod 0....

Same here, hope it's good, as G3. Medic and LMG just don't mix well with me....

They just fit my play style and my opinion of a lot of fun. Once you get used to its sloppiness you can do the standard LMG tricks: Clearing your way to advantageous positions with good sight on nearby enemies and gunning them down as fast as possible, move to the next good spot, repeat. Also the best guns for point defence. Taking on these roles usually means lots of action and lots of kills.

While doing things the LMG is best at (mowing down enemy lines) doesn't mix well with the medic, the point defence aspect does and with the ability to revive people again this should be the main focus of a good medic in Conquest.

Feels like it yeah, but we personally dont know for sure.

Single player wise, I havent played BC1 so I have no idea whats going on with the characters and all.

But multiplayer, I had tons of fun in the demo so full game with more weapons and addons (4x scope!), maps and "perks" is going to be great.

Maybe it will jam all the time, like the M60! Seriously, why not use the weapon that replaced it- the 240B? That's almost as baffling as having the ejection ports on the wrongs side. I just don't get it...

Single player wise, I havent played BC1 so I have no idea whats going on with the characters and all.

I did play it, and it was okish, a bit bland but what saved it was that the characters were great, contrary to what the guy in the review says ("less anoying this time" ?!) super funny and full of personality. This was actually one of my main concerns, that they were subtracting the witty amusing side of the first one. Just look at the trailers from the first, were awesome and very unique. This time around they are going too much on the CoD:MW route, and that's too bad I think.

But the MP is going to rock, that's what matters :)

Once you're done ogling the smoke trails or mountain ranges in the distance, you'll start to notice that Bad Company 2 has taken a few cues from the Call of Duty franchise. The last Battlefield game was the first to introduce a fully fleshed out storyline and it stumbled a bit in the process. The humor was goofy and over the top[...]

oh wow, just read the written review, seconds after i posted my previous post. Shit, my fears are confirmed. Seriously, do we really need another modern warfare shooter, where we try to get a bomb from crazy russian/middle-eastern organization, taking it self too seriously!?...

I remember some of the dialogues between the characters in the trailers of BC1, hilarious IMO for example the one about they can blow "ANYTHANG" up lol.

I do hope these characters have the same personalities again even if they went the "COD" route because thats what I thought was good, makes them funny, relateable and have normal conversations to funny ones...basically not the typical "oh i am a soldier with a gun, i am badass".

I am just going off the BC1 trailers here though of what i thought of the characters and their dialogues.

But after I beat the SP once, its all MP as usual.

hate your american ass! here in europe we only get it in the end of the week, also as i'm living in germany add also a few more days for my english version arrive. so with a bit of luck, in a week and a half i'll be playing it. :/

Well, I probably won't be getting it tomorrow either, but I'm still hopeful. It's shipping US Postal Service via GameStop.com (free shipping), so I don't really know what to expect.

It did ship though, so I'm just waiting for the USPS to update the tracking info.

I'm getting it tomorrow, just received a message that it's on the way. With the option of choosing the original language I don't care for the English version either.

G3 looks a beast, as does M14 Mod 0 Enhanced. Despite me not enjoying much LMG's, i have to say M60 is a killer from what i played on the PS3 beta.

Very cool Uruk. I'm actually not in love with how much customization there is in this game. I think that it makes the baseline balance really hard to achieve. I actually just sat here for a good ten minutes reading a lot of that stuff, and trying to figure out what will be the best combination of specializations and items to use in game. I have a feeling that my beta kit will be just as effective in the full game though, which is cool, because it will make unlocking everything a breeze :)
