I just got a weird glitch in the game. Was in MP with my friend and my game froze. Now I can't get back into an online game no matter what I try. Can't even do quick match.

I've done everything too, tested my 360 connection and everything.


Hopefully I wasn't banned for being too beastly

I can't get into any games anymore. Oh well, it's late and I'm already halfway done with my first short term goal, the M60.

Great game. Only having 5 maps to play on hurts the fun a lot though. Fuck you EA.

OK after playing for about five hours now, I can say that the tweaks that they made since the beta have worked quite well. The new vehicle handling is MUCH better and the damage model is much less arcade feeling.

On the jungle maps this game looks absolutely stunning! One of the best looking games this gen when on that jungle map, so beautiful.

Now that I'm playing conquest and playing with some people who actually use teamwork, i can say that this is a very nice alternate to the buggy MW2 mess. Looks like I have a new favorite shooter to get addicted to. Can't wait to unlock the the M16, the 4x scope, and the rifle marksman upgrade. Gonna be some good times with that set up.

To those who are still waiting, the final game plays excellent, and this is coming from someone who had a lot to gripe about after the beta.

The maps are incredibly impressive though, you have to admit. There is a lot of little touches in them to appreciate. Also there are much more than 5 I am pretty sure.


Turns out their servers are getting slammed so that is why problems are happening

I WAS playing it on 360, but like a lot of other people I got kicked off the servers and it won't let me back on. Played the first couple levels of the SP campaign and holy shit does this game look good in the jungle level. Amazing graphics.

I just wanna know what the fuck was the point of the beta if they are gonna have their servers crash the first night? Pretty pathetic to be so unprepaired. I don't have much time to play games lately and I'm really annoyed I set aside tonight to play this and it's already broken.

Yes, but only 5 maps are playable on each playlist, the rest will be unlocked later in March (that's the "DLC"). It just boggles my mind why the press praises it as "free extra stuff" while it's the most obvious act of cutting content that is already on the disc to sell it later on. Not even horse armour can touch this shameless cash-in.

Anyway, Laguna Alta is the most visually impressive map. Too bad it's only playable on Rush and each encounter winds up like a Mexican standoff.

The default FOV is like wearing blinders... as it is in most new games.

I just can't get enough of the thick jungle level in SP when I watch it, just fantastic.

PS. I am keep reading that there is quite a connection error problems, has me worried :(
I dont know how "nerfed" this "spotting" is according to some comments around forums, dont know if people are exagerating or not. I liked the spotting in the demo, a very valueable feature to let snipers in your team take them out.

Dont called me stupid but I dont get that FOV thing,like it would be the same if you only go back to see more?

I got it in Bioshock because you actually seemore on the screen and it shows on the hands and stuff but here it seems the player its only going back.

Again dont call me stupid if someone wants to explain me this would be appreciated.

The player isn't going back, they just fudge it so the player model doesn't warp. If you turn up the FOV too high in most FPS it makes your weapon model elongated and weird looking. But yeah, he's standing in the same spot in every picture. It's adjusting your field of view so that you can see more on screen at one time. A lot of new games are around the 55 degree mark and it's sorta frustrating for some, especially PC gamers who sit closer to their screens.

A lot of people have been bitching about it, but to be honest, it was sorta broken in the beta already. Sometimes you can be looking straight at something, zoomed, and it still won't spot it.

But from what I've been hearing, I guess there's a cool down time now between spots, which is what people are complaining about. I don't know how severe it actually is though since my copy hasn't arrived yet.

Spotting works fine for me. I noticed a cool down time, it should be about 2-3 secs, but it never really bothered me except when I'm on the UAV. The UAV is a lot less useful now, because the enemies will light up for about 4-5 secs and then disappear, you can only focus on a single group at a time.

UAV is still fun to use, though. I guide my buddies when they take over flags and spot enemies around it. It's still a very powerful tool.

Also I unlocked the M60 yesterday. It's a god damn beast of a gun. I hate the iron sights, as expected, will try the RDS later on. I won't be using the PKM any more, it served me well and went out with a bang on its last day (two triple kills within 30 secs). :)
