The game sucks for clans. (Xbox 360 mind you) Going back to the original Xbox, in games like Ghost Recon... you could set up a private match and everyone on your team could hear one another.. none of this flaky squad stuff.
They should make the game more clan friendly and make it so you can set up matches against another team, with your own perimeters... no launchables etc.
This game has so much going for it, but the non-ability of not being able to set up your own server, and the communication foibles in BF3 sucks.

Since 7509 DaysAnyway, I'm finally at the point where I'm getting the better weapons/unlocks. Loving it. Playing Support almost exclusively since the M249 is my Top Weapon. Seriously, Bipod + IRV + Extended mag and Mortar gadget = Heaven. Just love it to bits.

Consoles have been having great clan matches, ladders since Xbox Live launched on the original Xbox, way back when.
I don't know where you've gotten your information from. And with Xbox Live, most have headsets and standardized chat that works
for the team(s). BF3 fails miserably in this area.
