"That just happened 'cause that was awesome" - Randy Pitchford, Gearbox
And using gamepad on PC in MP mode, well, obviously its not balanced and I have big disadvantage.
I will "get" it on PC as well to see how it perfoms on my PC and for prettier graphics, if possible LOL.
But I will buy it on PS3, even if graphics, obviously, isnt as great as PC, I will still enjoy the GAMEPLAY.
Unlike many, i am no graphics whore, yes even when it comes to Crysis.
I didnt replay Crysis 1 and Warhead more than 5 times just for its graphics. I thought it was fun playing it and using the suit.
Wish I could say that to Killzone series.
Looks like someone leaked a beta version of this game. That's lame, and this aint a great screenshot, but that image quality (in DX9 and on high) murders the Xbox demo already. Moar!
Would it kill them to release some official PC media?
but still I will tweak the ini when the game comes out for 60 FPS!! OH YA @ 1680 x 1050 though.

looks nice, but the guy makes the combat look boring as hell.
pop-in needs fixing too.
otherwise i'm tempted to pick it up.
I'm sorta doubtful that I'll feel the same w/ the new (noob) suit layout, but we'll see. I also lol'd when I saw that the PC demo was still twelve players.
One thing I dislike though is that energy drains when you sprint, normally.
In Crysis 1, if you sprint normally you can easily sprint as much as you want and the energy wouldnt drain until you picked Speed Mode.
I hate the fact that in this one, even if you are sprinting normally, your energy suit is draining, and if its empty you cant sprint at all. Horrible decision!
Though I do like the fact you can get alien resources after killing them and start saving those "credits" to buy upgrades with various abilities to your suit any time.
But I like that its in the city now (hate that its NY), more things is happening around you, even if its scripted, more stuff to see other than moutnains and trees and bushes...etc.
Its just more alive, for me it doesnt matter if its more restricted from Crysis 1, as long as its fun to use the suit and go crazy at the enemy :)
As Grift said it gives a big Predator kinda impression, so badass.
Real Madrid C.F. fan.
Halo thought to let you throw a grenade without switching to grenades and meleeing without switching to a melee weapon. That philosophy echoed throughout Halo and made that into probably the finest playing FPS there is. Crysis always had a similar vibe to it, but the separation of elements made it ever so slightly clunkier than it could have been. I don't see this as noobification at all, I see it as a logical step. I see it as moving away from the Prototype school of fetching each power off a shelf, and moving towards the InFamous school of being part of a seamless arsenal.
There'll still be balance there, there'll still be a finite amount of energy you can spend, it just won't be this weird system where strength and toughness are arbitrarily two different things - just because - and then the game needs to chomp down on your energy bar to the point where stalls are impossible to avoid. It can all be done much more elegantly and play better because of it.
As for the "hunter" part, I think that'll be there in doses, but I also think you'll feel more like a super hero going up against worse odds. There'll still be that notion of only you being able to even remotely pull the shit off that you're doing. Ie, I think it'll still be empowering, just not as overpowering.

This image makes me sad...so much for the 8 core support promised by Crytek....looks like my 6 core CPU will get me about 10 more frames (1075t over e8400) but still I was expecting a much better result
Looks like the engine is still GPU dependent, I do hope they patch the multicore optimizations to Crysis 1. I am betting it will run well with some ini tweaks 1650 x 1080 or whatever that res is :P
I just know mine is a Core 2 Duo E7200, I only see E7400, dont know what that means.
I got Crysis 1 and Warhead running around 30-40 on high/very High mixed without AA and Vsync on native resolution 1680x1050.
Outside of Crysis, any game I have played I have been able to max out pretty much all settings except I turn off AA because I am not THAT picky and vsync, if it dips my perfomance alot, I turn it off.
And they have been running great.
So yeah, outside of Crysis, I am good with what I got, shockingly lol.
The tower I got isnt that big enough for more advanced newer graphics cards, as far as I know, the new ones they are quite long so, yeah.
Besides, I am not a graphics whore to have the best graphics when playing, I always mix good graphics and perfomance just so I can enjoy the game on a high resolution and play the game :)
So it took a few weeks or so for me to find a nice good budget graphics card and a get a new memory add on so its 4 now, and when I came home and tried the benchmark again, I said holy shit its awesome LOL
So since then I have managed myself.
Besides, I am sure mods will find a way to make Crysis 2 look even better but yet not to take much perfomance out of it.
That is what I am counting on later after release.
I used Natural Mod and something else which I dont remember, for both Crysis games and the performance was great and graphics was better than without it, the stuff was like magic! :D
The first Crysis ran awesome on this rig, hoping Crysis 2 works fairly well too. I don't intend to upgrade until the fall.
