I think i have stood in poo
Lord knows it already has the graphics going for it.
I was thinking more of Halo's world and the way in which the events of the game were presented. I also should have made clear that I was talking about the first Halo, as 2 and 3 didn't really come close to matching CE's presentation in terms of a focused campaign and direction. They didn't flow nearly as well IMO.
I just meant that the characters and overall design, while visually superb, lacked the character that much of Halo's universe captured. But that's just my opinion, if someone else found Crysis to be as exciting of a universe that is perfectly fine by me. Lord knows I've never understood why people are so interested in the Metal Gear stories, it's all a matter of opinion/taste.
I was also impressed by the amount of physics and destruction I saw going on. It wasn't ground breaking but for such large levels and such top of the line visuals, it was nice to see it all coming together.
Now let's start hearing about the MP please.

The city is very well crafted, very convincing design. Too bad the video quality's horseshit...

Too many movies and games have used it and it is getting really boring.
I mean what is it that makes people want to destroy NY over and over and over...etc. again?
I would have prefered if they could go somewhere in Europe, better locations, betters designs...etc. it would be fresh from all the US and middle eastern we see these days.
But whatever, I wont let the setting ruin the game, even if I dislike their decision.
IMO, I thought the gameplay was great with some screentearing here and there, with PC it will be gone.
I have Vsync off when I play Crysis/Warhead the reason is because I want a smoother performance without. I do see it now and then but its not much of a big deal, so not problem with Crysis 2.
I am buying it for sure.
Currently playing: Uncharted 2, CoDMW2 (PS3), Torchlight (PC)

I know fans of a certain system will find reasons to cut this game down, but I don't see how any objective person couldn't say this doesn't look very impressive for a console game. but that's just me so w/e.
But no matter how great it looks if it doesn't have a really great SP or a really good MP then it's nothing but a rental for me. I still think the first Crysis lacked focus and it just didn't give me a lasting impression. Especially the MP.

But we've seen very little, so its far too early to made assumptions like this, here's hoping the PC version is godly!

Basically amounts to a 2-3 month delay.
I'm just really hoping they have a great MP and a great map editor. Those two aspects of the game or gonna make it or break it for me.
Otherwise, if it's just a good SP experience I'll probably just rent the game. Sure it will be a blast though, and visually stunning no doubt.
But then again its good they delayed it, why...
Basara 3
Castlevania LoS
Star Wars TFU 2
They will all come out this year starting with Basara 3. I can wait for Crysis 2, no hurry at all.
Crysis 2 being close to Killzone 3...both are a must buy for me, unless Crysis 2 MP seems boring like Crysis was.
