Very nice but there is some things I don't get like:

You can change character at any time?

What are those pauses? I don't like them.

It seems linear by the way they are running in a straight path, the game would be linear?

Its an RPG, if you played the first game you would know its very much the same, you can switch between you squad at anytime, and the pause you saw, is the player selecting the tactical menu where you can pick and line up all you squads attacks and select which enemies to attack.

I love the new art style, and it seems all the RPG combat depth remains :), like what I’m seeing so far, even though the guy playing was not the best.

They were also in the first game - PC only. It's an RPG, not a hack 'n' slash title.

The first game was mostly linear, with a tiny bit of exploration.

I really like the new art style as well; it's a far cry from the first game, which was pretty damn ugly at times.

It's pretty amazing how they did everything in their power to do the exact opposite of what made the first game good, now I can see why they've been reluctant to release gameplay videos. That combat looks like absolute balls, worse than Dynasty Warriors balls.. I'm really am in disbelief they thought this was the route to take with the series. Oh well, they don't have to worry about me purchasing this.

I agree the videos look bad, but thats because the people playing are tryin to play it all hack and slash action (IE. there not rpg players), all the combat rpg depth and strategy is still there plus some, its just not being used in the combat vids shown this far, but as the devs have stated in a number of interviews that all the previous combat/strategy RPG depth is still there, i'm not worrid at all, Bioware have yet to let me down on any RPG there have released thus far, and i see this as being no different.

i kinda agree based on what i've seen so far. if it retains it's identity and options and depth, then awesome. if they mass effect 2-ify the game, then it's a no sale. they dumbed down mass effect 2 WAY too much (seriously, the game felt like it was made with molyneux at the helm) and if this suffers those same problems, then i wont be buying it.

i'm already kinda worried that they've removed the replayability and options in regards to your class/race and origin story. it already kinda feels like a bit of a shell compared to the first one. but as long as they've taken that replayability, and that longevity that you WOULD have gotten from different races etc ,and injected it all into a single storyline, then so be it. but i expect a significantly longer storyline then what they have offered so far in both dragon age origins and mass effect 1/2.

The art teams needs to be fired, from the smaller screens on the other page I was hopeful, but god damn the character art is horrible. (although it is for most western RPG's)

It is kind of hard to get an idea of how the combat really works, the person playing in the video spends more time running away than actually fighting.

Playing DA:O on PC and then on console the game felt a lot different (PC being the better of the 2), I guess this time they have developed the game with console in mind first which would explain the more simplified combat.

I think that gameplay looks amazing IMO

I like it a lot.

Now that Im playing ME I know that I will love witching characters lol, I will chose the hotter woman like Isabella and play with her the whole game lols, I wish I could play with Tali in ME!
