Driftwood @reneyvane: on aurait bien voulu mais on a jamais eu de réponse à notre demande de code malgré le formulaire rempli. Même pas un "non désolé", ce qui est toujours très pro comme façon de faire. (il y a 1 Jour)

Rampancy: The state of mind 'Smart' AI's (AI's with the ability to learn) reach after
A: A 7 year period
B: Absorbing significantly high amounts of data
Rampancy is essentially death to an AI, described in one of the books along the lines of 'A human so pre-occupied with with thinking they forget to breathe'
Typically a smart AI's life span is 7 years before they go insane, but this is shortened with the more they learn. As players of the last 2 game might remember Cortana has been inside the mainframe of:
The Piller of Autumn
Master Chief
Installation 04 (Halo)
The Cairo
High Charity
That's a heck of a lot of knowledge
As per Halo 2's final scene and the 'Conversations of the Universe' book included with the limited edition it makes several notions towards questioning Cortanas loyalty to Earth.

The MP is very cool as well (already doing well online! woot!). In particular having "elimination" (i.e. set # of lives) and having a death penalty (each death has an extra # of seconds before spawn) is very cool. I just wish it had some Battlefield 1942/DoD style flag caps. Even an Onslaught style would be cool.
Anyhow, MP in Halo is very well done. Love the pistol!
I played Doom, Doom 2, Duke Nukem, Quake, Quake 2, Unreal, Half Life, etc... I have been a diehard FPSer for years. When online/team games came out I transitioned over. Halo introduced a lot of cool aspects. The intuitive shield/health system, a good balance of tactical and twitch gameplay, and a number of vehicles in open/large areas. But back then it was pretty typical runing through very boring corridores, but they all had that back then. HECK, look at Fear or Doom 3! They barely deviate from that!
But yeah, some parts are kind of boring. Sometimes kind of too open for me. Since it is not a graphical fest and I am mainly trying to learn the story and get through the game wandering around sometimes is kind of boring.
BUT, there is a lot good here. I love the AI. The humor in the game is excellent. For a 6 year old game graphics are EXCELLENT. And for being old there is a lot of weapons. Story, while some dialogue is cheesy, is well done. Game balance is excellent. MP is great.
I am enjoying it. But yeah, some parts are not quite as good as others. But that tends to be the case in longer games. I thought HL2 was one of the few that was not plagued by this, but even it had spots people thought were too slow relatively.
Pacing is VERY hard in games, especially action oriented ones. A good/deep story and RPG elements help with that, but we are still in the infancy of developing those areas.

Just tell me if you guys want the track, and this is better than nothing really, until Bungie reales the full version like they did for Halo 2.

Use Putfile though, not Rapidshare because my ISP is always read as having downloaded 400 Terabytes in the past hour.

12:59: Camera pans over to show GIGANTIC Covenant dropship in sky ... not one, dozens of them. Sky now swarming with banshees over giant crater that is actually a giant Forerunner gateway--the gateway lights up, screen goes white, HALO 3 LOGO APPEARS.
1:00: Crowd goes ballistic. Lights come up and the conference is over.
1:01: Crowd gets up to leave, but weird audio recording comes over PA. Female voice asks "Master Chief to pick up white courtesy phone," and urges people not to feed any "grunts they might encounter." Then she says "The Locust horde has a scheduled attack at 3 p.m. in this venue." Some laughter can be heardfrom the obviously stunned throng.
1:02: CONFERENCE ENDS.
So Cortana made a ad voice for Gears of War hahaha nice. I really wished Master Chief brings his assault rifle into Sera's doom and fight against Marcus and Dom. Marcus and Dom got the chainsaw, but John puts a plasma grenade into the locust horde and ecplode the crap out of them hahaha. That would be so awesome. Kind of like a Bungie cameo character in Gears of War haha.

Text is a bit big. IMO it is fake because the image in the background is the same as the trailer. Don't you think bungie would have a few more images to choose from.
