I actually played the E3 build and it does look fantastic. I didn't like the graphics in cockpit view though. Still, the E3 build being in fact finished in April, you get 4-5 months of polish on top of an already awesome-looking demo, so expect to play a really beautiful game on HDTVs. :D

Wow, unbelievable. This should shut some mouths of those non-believers, unless of course they say the replays are also doctored lol. (although they admittedly are to a very slight extent--motion blur, probably more AA). Honestly, this is pretty much representative of gameplay.

WTF!!!


By the way, am I the only one who thinks that Mustang is downright..........HORRIBLE? Nasty, an atrocity to humanity. And I mean in real life, the game can't do much else to save that car.

Wasn't there splitscreen in FM2? But yeah, I wouldn't count on splitscreen + AI. Splitscreen sucks anyways for games like this--or any other racing game where precision is important--arcade or not.

No seriously, I tried time and time again. I just don't find the fun in that anymore. I guess if I had a son to play with I would, maybe I should get one.

I'm thinking you can count with split-screen dude, just not with AI included.

Awesome trailer, i believe now.
As for split screen, no AI is what killed the split screen for me in F2, currently having a blast with wipeout whenever mates are over and it makes a huge difference having to fight your way through the pack.

Yes, the build at Gamescom is the E3 build... which means cockpits are at 30 instead of 60 like they are now. And you're right, the game does look better now that we are closer to ship. Even Camino Viejo has improved.

I love how the cars all look so solid and chunky now, they actually look like they are hefty machines. The lighting is also pretty damn superb now, it aint trying to burn itself into my retinas and we can see the details in the models as they are meant to be seen.
As ive been sayin already, ive played 5hrs a day of FM2 for about a week tryin to get some more achievements by grindin out cash so i know how it can look. The cars generally look very lightweight, maybe its the poly count or whatever, but they dont "feel" solid. Then theres the weird ass lighting that on several courses causes so much bloom on the car that it washes out entire sides of the vehicle, really unnatural.
None of that here though, the lighting is much more subtle, understated and realistic.

I cant wait for the next trailer tbh, seeing really is believing. One thing is for sure, after seeing GT5 yesterday forza has become even more impressive.
