Nice vid, shame about the car. I just hope the real super cars like the F50GT and FXX return in this new game. Please, please, please bring back the TVR Speed 12.

I say for what it's worth because I haven't been able to get too much into this series. I know little to nothing about it, and it seems like it'll continue to be that way because you don't see the series here in the states. It sure as hell beats NASCAR though, lol.

Just don't expect ANY new info. Although I guess one interesting bit is that the content guy said they had about 250+ people working on the game one way or another, DAMN! I guess that's how they achieved the results we see in so little time.

Something I saw in the video that probably no one will notice? AI driver shifting gear animations are in! Well, we just hadn't seen it before, but as the Lambo starts passing a Subaru, you can see the AI driver changing gear. Strange enough, I don't think we have seen your driver change gears, lol.

Also, jaggies are pretty much no where to be seen. The only place you can see them is the interior shadowing, too bad but I guess shadowing this generation is doomed to be jagged. All racing games have it.

If the car costs that much i hope we get a decent amount of cash in the game this time, 1 million creds would take me the best part of a day to obtain in FM2 and thats the thing i was most annoyed with, just collecting cars took forever and ever and ever and ever.

Well, it's not just *any* car, it's the damned Veyron!!! They mentioned using a bit more realistic prices for cars this time around, and thus now you get the Veyron at that price. But yeah, generally cars will cost more this time around, so in a way I'm with you there.

Still, Forza games are VERY generous with the cars they give away--I really don't see how you had trouble growing a garage in FM2, not to mention that the first one is free :P

Just saw that vid, some really nice direct feed game play cuts, it is looking even better ingame!

Personally, I like the fact that it takes a long time time to get the expensive cars, it makes them feel more valuable and special when you finally purchase one. It also gives you an opportunity to use those cars for longer before the next one comes along.

Btw, nice find with that gear shifting, didn't notice it the first time :D

Yea, but if achievemtns are in there again to obtain all cars in the game, it will take absolutely forever to get em, 1 day for a car like the veyron, say theres 100 cars ~the 1 mil mark, thats 100 days for 100 cars which is absolutely rediculous. It was bad enough needing to do 2 endurance races at 1 hr a piece to get one of those 350k cars.

In Forza 2, you could get 1mil in 2 - 3 hrs doing endurance races. Besides, if can create a desirable paint job, you can get 1mil in 3 minutes on the auction house.

I also doubt there will be an achievement to own all the cars in the game.

Although I didn't get a chance to see multiplayer at PAX, I was told that Turn 10 will be running dedicated servers for online matches and will offer full matchmaking functionality a la Halo 3.

These vids are from the latest builds and it shows, the game is looking pretty untouchable at the moment, my jaw dropped when i saw the horizon detail on the Catalunya track. Personally, I would go as far as saying that this is the best looking console game of this generation.

Man, I can't wait for this game. I'm glad I bought the MS wheel when Forza 2 came out. It may not be the best wheel but it's certainly more fun than a pad.

Thanks for linking Jin. Although I have to say it's sad that when we do get direct-feed video it's like this. Gamersyde's off-screen 60fps videos simply look better, what can I say. I'm sure everyone saw the GT5 videos, did anyone download the monster files? Now that is high quality. IGN's a bit more passable, but still, it's pretty bad. It's an irony that we are linking to Youtube for better quality, lol.

Anyways, except for the video quality, this game is looking amazing. The UI is so sleek. The tracks are also incredibly detailed, I love that intro that just shows the camera flying around the track.

I wonder if we only have one homespace though, basically Camino Viejo only? I wish we could set the track and for every track Turn 10 chose a great location to pan the camera around your car.
