I'm also pretty sure that tool knew he was lying when he said Forza 3's photomode is the same as in-game minus added AA and AF; "here at t10 we don't bullshot". How do you play a game for 2 years, observe its development cycle, and not realize the photomode screens swap in a higher-poly car model compared to the actual game models. It's very noticeable even to a non-graphics whore.

He was absolutely sure he was lying, then he says he wasn't lying .....well the irony is strong. He even says he is a graphics whore himself, which invalidates his position even more.

I said the same thing, how is that even possible, play a game for a long ass time, praise the graphics, and you can't tell the whole interior of the car disappears......not even in a replay you can't tell? Come on. The fact that he just keeps on denying it, it just baffles me. Che is an ass I'm telling you, and when he gets together with Greenawalt, the pile of BS just adds up. Their games are great, but please, just shut the fuck up, bs, arrogance, lies, nice.

Agreed with everything, especially the last comment. Their PR is a bunch of misleading bull, and it's sad to say I like their game too. The Polyphony guy at e3 was probably taking notes on how to not be an ass to the fans.

Tbh, they did the same thing with 2, they showed all these great bullshots and then the final game hit and it was a jag fest. Theyve burnt all their bridges this time though, i'll never believe anything they say one way or the other because its pretty much guaranteed to be an all out lie based on a small grain of truth.
Theyve been workin on this game for 2 years and in that time removed the jaggies, added a weak cockpit view, moved the camera back a bit and added a few tracks and cars. The game looks better, theres no doubt, but i'd be rather disappointed, after 2 years of development with 100's of people if that was all i had to show for it graphically.

I've been playin a lotta GT:PSP and if anything its fired me up even more for FM3, but right now im driving a veyron and it has a working tail fin that raises and lowers based on your speed. I think i read they have no working fins like that in FM3 which is hugely disappointing. Its the same thing with the no gear shift animation in cockpit, pretty much all cockpit cams these days have gear shifting. Just all these minor things that they just couldnt be bothered doing add up and make the whole package that bit less impressive.

No the second game looked bad in screens, too. It was jagged up and the models where just as bad. That's why a lot of people believed Che when he said there would be no model swap for the photomode (including me). Too bad I can't really hate on them, I think the demo was very good and the game will be very good.

Anyway... I think Turn10 have done what's right with this game and that is set up a solid base for the next gen, when they'll be able to use their 200k poly models, better cockpit mode and improve on what's important. Still a bit disappointing the game is not what it could be.

Gameplay wise, the game has yet to disappoint me at all. The graphics still look great too, I was simply counting on better models in-game/replay.

It's just a crappy layout. I didn't like it in Forza 1, and I was pretty disappointed to see it in Forza 2.

At least it's a DLC track this time, so it can't possibly be where you do the first part of your career. I hated that in F2.

Ok, Sidewinder seems to be one more of the "snake tracks" which are awful.
