Maybe in a near future we can have a game where we have everything top notch graphics,Japanese combat gameplay like NG or Bayonetta and the scale of GoW.

Meanwhile you have to make a decision of what you want pure raw best of the best combat gameplay or eye candy graphics.

Please let that be Castlevania Lords of Shadow, or close to it...for me!

Your comment comes as if you are only want to discuss things for the sake of it,we are in a game forum of course I want to know what game, I mean I have to word by word say what Im talking about? we are in a freaking games forum talking about action games although GoW cant be named that but whatever.

But you know what forget it either way he is wrong and so as you concerning complicated gameplay if that means NG or Bayonetta,so I will leave that argument alone.

Imo GoW is by far dumber than Bayonetta in more than gameplay if you ask me. Satire and comedy vs bloodthirsty, angry muscleman. Sorry but GoW is incredibly juvenile in almost all ways (basing this mainly on GoW1 and Chains of Olympus as those are the ones i've played) :P

In the end i think i'll end up enjoying GoW 3 way more than Bayonetta though.

Did you read my entire post or did you spas out in sheer excitement half way through? I never said GoW was bad, i even think i'll be enjoying GoW 3 more than aforementioned game. I just think that the audience that actually think Kratos is cool is probably to 90% comprised of 13 year old boys :P

Raptor- I was refering to both NG and Bayo thenetta/DMC :P I suppose I meant depth, really although complexity is higher in the aforementioned games. I do prefer a more in depth system, but gows system is certainly adequate. The only reason I bring it up is that you and sath can't quit looking down your noses at this game. Just because it goes for different style of play. We get it, you like your stuff better, but no one was arguing your point and you kept at it

What I see here is a lot of effort to save the glory of other games in this genre besides gow in a bad way... come on people, its not a good thing that you folks take the combat elements of god of war as its whole gameplay, its just one part of it... and what it lacks in combat-complexity in comparison to NG, DMC or other Japanese games, it more than covers up with its physical puzzles and climbing/platforming elments that are equally big part of the experience/gameplay and are mostly missing in other titles. Just remember, combat is only one of 3 big elements of gow gameplay and is great in itself as well :)

it is fucked up tho, but it isnt like you HAVE to download it. i mean, the damn thing is free on gametrailers.com. it's infinately easier to just watch it in HD on there. personally i downloaded it via internet download manager, and then streamed it to my PS3 via PS3 media server. job's a good'un.

it's everything to do with that. just like all pay to play content for games. people bitch and moan about DLC coming out a week after a game, people bitch and moan about character skins costing an arm and a leg, but ultimately it boils down to once thing and one thing alone....if you want it, you will have to buy it. if you are somehow hurt by the idea of a company wanting to make money that they spent time making...then you know your option there too. dont buy it.

for this GTTV footage tho, there are various options as far as watching the thing. from watching it on your PC SD/and HD, and you can even watch it streaming on the PS3's browser. the choice isnt difficut to make. if you genuinely feel insulted by something like this, i feel sorry for you.

and explain to me what is unreasonable about it? the fact you have to pay for it on PSN? the fact you can watch that same footage on the internet browser that every PS3 has as standard? the fact you can watch the footage in SD and HD on your PC whenever the hell you want? yeah, it's so unreasonable that ONE option is a bogus one. it isnt like people have the option to watch it without paying now is it....oh wait. it is exactly that.

i find it completely rediculous this is even an issue for some people. just turn your damn PC on, go to gametrailers, and watch the damn thing there. was that so friggin difficult?

I decided not to get Bad Company 2.

The more I think about the more I know modern realistic type of games isnt for me, has to be supernatural elements (for example RE, Uncharted, Prototype, Alan Wake, Bioshock or sci-fi/futuristic or fantasy in games for me to get interested for starters.

So considering I am not going to buy BC2, I pretty much got money to buy any other game I want, but I dont know what.

GOW3 is a contender...however its a slim chance.
Too bad Lost Planet 2 comes out in 2 months *sigh*

Well I got some thing to do.

PS. About the whole "pay to watch" thingy for GOW3...stupid shit. Videos and demos are not something we have to pay for. DLCs sure, but videos!?
Even if its in HD, the game is coming out in like a few weeks from now so why bother.
