Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

Inscrit depuis 7484 JoursBut its basically become a love story (Ming and Jansen) stuck amongst the rantings of a mad man who wants to rule the world. (much like Nene, although hes much more evil than that lol)
And I agree with what you say Optimus, the majority of FF7 was spent running around doing much of nothing, which is similar to this game I suppose, although it was more like you were trying to figure out why Sephiroth was the way he was, yet you don't really know why Gangora is the way he is, he just seems to be mentally deluded.
But like you say there is a another disc yet so perhaps it will be cleared up in due course.
Needless to say Disc 3 has been a bore.

Inscrit depuis 7493 JoursEither way from your impressions disc 4 could be a nice setup for some pretty awesome stuff or it may completely fail. I can't imagine them having such a really nice build up throughout only to fail at the very end so I'm at the very least hopeful.
I have a friend that beat the game and was pretty impressed with the story overall so who knows. He in particular had some fantastic things to say about Kaim so I guess we'll see.

Inscrit depuis 7577 JoursI really don't see how some people can say the English VA is bad. If anything, the Japanese voices sound a bit off(under par) to me in comparison. Not referring to the lip-sync thing either. Oh well, to each his own.
Btw how's the music? Does it lean toward a lot of hit and miss like Blue Dragon, or is it mostly nothing but win? I've skimmed through both you and Optimus's post due to fear of spoilers, so I may have missed it if either of you mentioned it :P

Music to my ears I think. It may very well be too much, but if there is any problem to have I'm glad thats it. Is it at all possible there could have been talk about other aspects of the story during character text only exchanges? Because from my experience with any jrpg those text only dialogs usually contain some pretty vital information.

I atleast hope what takes place at the point jolli mentions is at least done really well even if it may be too much. Then again all that character development could easily be a plot device for the development of the story later.
