I'm a lot further into it now maybe middle of disc 3, but still really enjoying it. Sure it isn't blowing the doors off at the current state in the game, but at the very same time how good or bad a decision this point in the game was for the developers will be determined by how they manage to wrap it all up and how the current events end up playing a role in that (if at all)

The way I see it is if it isn't one it would be the other. Without all the character development you would likely hear things such as all these characters and you barely get a chance to experience what they are like and so it feels like you never get a good feel for them. I think this route is a lot safer and smarter than risking revealing all these more complex aspects of the world or story without properly giving insight into the characters through interaction.

I feel final fantasy XII had pretty bad character development especially for the main character.

Yea it scales up depending on the area you are in, I am totally getting my ass handed to me on the area I just entered.

Its a very challenging game, and because of its level cap per area you can't really get over leveled.

New titles may include a sequel to the blockbuster Blue Dragon, said Takashi Sensui, executive officer and chief of the home and entertainment division of Tokyo-based Microsoft Co.

Glad to know Blue Dragon 2 appears to be in the works.

On a side note, the Lost Odyssey Ending videos are up and its taking a lot of will power not to watch them.

Blue Dragon remains to be the number 1 360 game in Japan according to these figures.

Interesting note that despite having the lowest hardware sales, the 360 has the highest software attachment ratio per console sold in Japan. Definitely good news for Microsoft KK.

Infinite Undiscovery. Lets hope Lost Odyssey manages to chug along or actually show some nice legs next week. 20-30k for next week would be really nice.

Hopefully it also manages to do better than Blue Dragon did in the USA and Europe.

Really? I thought it was 80k first week for Blue Dragon. The best way I can look at it I suppose is that maybe majority of if not all Blue Dragon owners will eventually get around to picking it up.
