That’s right - Mass Effect 3 is getting multiplayer! We travel to BioWare’s office in Edmonton for hands-on time with the series’ first foray into online gameplay, and chat with Mass Effect Series Producer and Mass Effect 3 Project Director Casey Hudson about the decision to go multiplayer in the epic battle for the galaxy.



I personally hope it will be fun in a Mass Effect universe.
Probably be like Gears of War meets Bioshock 2, would be interesting to see how they will manage to balance it out with all the various classes and such, I for one am intrigued.

In a follow-up tweet, BioWare’s Casey Hudson revealed that multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 would take the form of co-operative missions, writing:

“Yes, co-op MP missions for [Mass Effect 3]: they’re real, and they’re spectacular. Rest assured it’s nothing of what you’ve feared. More soon…”
oh yeah i'm in!! more Mass Effect goodness.. hope these missions have great mini stories attached.

I'm curious to see how much this game has become Gears of War.
Looks like they're falling into the whole cinematic cutscene QTE business.

Exactly nothing like the normal QTE's.

Just read that ME3 will have 40000 lines of dialog :), me1 had 20k and me2 had 25k.

Still, button shows on the screen, you have to press rapidly...thats QTE to me.
QTE doesnt mean more than 3 seconds with various buttons presses.

But...it was a VERY light QTE.
