This is one game I refuse to buy on Steam, for one reason or another. I'll take a retailed box... patch delays in COD4 cemented this position for me.
Damn forgot about that...ah well retail box will be mine :p

Lookin good. Stickies eh? Hopefully they have better nade physics than WAW's sticks. The new guns look good, and the AC130 is sorta cool, but it's a kill stream bonus so ultimately it'll disappear from my life after a month when the first comp mods come out. It's still cool to see them expanding their unlock system, as it was quite popular with the pub (casual) crowd.

I have to giggle a little when I see how awesome MW2 looks and then see pages upon pages of posts on message boards claiming that it has shit graphics. Is it the most technically impressive game out there? Hells no... but it still has great art direction and solid visuals all around.

Can't wait!

Wut? The explosion is like, right next to the player, in front of that building. You're just seeing particles (and paper/garbage) and shadows on the building. It's all pretty clear really.

you see the small generator thing on the side of the building....keep looking in that spot, when the dust clears it looks like you can see some sort of shelving unit, but it almost looks super imposed. it looks weird as hell.

NM, it IS a shelving unit, it just looks weird cos of the way the shadows are being cast.

Neat. I always wondered why there weren't more ambitious Call of Duty mods. The auto downloading and performance of the engine (and the fact that it's got Quake roots) all support such endeavors..
