Actually i think he was responding to Manthatyoufear in the first instance?

I was always getting the 360 vers so it matters not to me, the ps3 has also had plenty of multiplat dlc exclusives, and i have yet to hear anyone saying 'damn ps3 exclusive dlc i'm getting the 360 vers instead now', just seems silly to me.

Especially when it's only a month exclusivity..lol. Hardly enough reason to buy a different version out of spite. My issue is with DLC in general tho, especially when we KNOW there will be a 'complete' edition in a years time. Borderlands, oblivion, street fighter 4, marvel vs capcom and fallout 3 Taught me the value of patience. If you wait it out, you get everything for less. I'm waiting on fallout new vagas, i'll be waiting for the complete edition of borderlands 2, and i'll be waiting for skyrim.

There's also a lot of value in "I want to play it right now", that's make it worth to buy the vanilla version at launch. You could make a case that it's better to wait 3 months to buy the game for 40% of the launch price for all games, GOTY editions notwithstanding. But sometimes you just want to buy the game ASAP.

In most cases I actually wait for price drops. €20/game feels like a much more comfortable pricing for me.

Not going to lie chances are bloody slim i will buy the content on ps3 as well, but i'd rather my "royalties" went to the company not on a bribe spree.

I've never played any Fallout DLC and I've never felt like Fallout 3 or NV were less than complete for it.

Maybe you should get round to playing the DLC then?

It was the same with oblivion, maybe even moreso. Shivering isles coming with the GOTY edition made it feel complete, and i got it all for 15 quid, as opposed to the 80 it would cost to buy eveything seperately.

I rent it when it releases to play it day one. I buy it when it finaly becomes a complete product. As i said. Win/win

Batman arkham city is looking like a similar situation. Screw buying it day 1 and being screwed out if 90% of the DLC skins, i'll buy the GOTY edition and get it all for less. Simple

true, and try my damned hardest not to suppor thit, i bought batman AA on ps3 because that DLC was free :)

and yeah i would play the pc version but my current pc is not really made for playing games (it is a right uncomfrtable postition) hell its that uncomfy i can barly type lol
Will have better set up next year sometime

As for my comment on the whole buying it on ps3 over 360, i am odd just leave me to it :)

They can't be back, they were never gone. See this, this is a bit much hype from the fans imo. "Oh yeah, super stoked and excited about a feature that we all pretty much knew was gonna be in there but now it's confirmed. FUCK YEAH!" :)

Sounds like they're really sprucing it up though; it's an entirely new mode rather than something tacked on. That sounds pretty exciting to me.
