I guess its easier in the menu, the art is much more compelling and the classes arent so restricted from the getgo. You got more freedom to be who you want to be from start.
And the combat to be able to dual wield anything is great too.

The game looks like Oblivion? Now thats "lolz".
Not really, they do look and feel very similar. The characters are improved a bit but the environments look quite comparable if you ask me. Maybe you have a somewhat twisted view on the subject seeing as how you even admit to spending less than an hour playing Oblivion. You could barely have made it out of the sewers in that time.

I dont have to play a game I dislike more than I have to.
I got out enough to see the world and its gameplay and the rest was youtube, meh.

Skyrim does feel alot the same, but at the same time, very different.

Skyrim is like Oblivion?
The change is as much as Ninja Gaiden 2 is from Ninja Gaiden Black, and its pretty big but core is still the same.

The game looks like Oblivion? Now thats "lolz".
Of course skyrim looks miles better than oblivion, you just to look at the compare vids to see that lol..but yeah the combat and gameplay is much more streamlined.

No don't get me wrong it does have it's share of improvements i just don'tse how it goes from 0 to 100 in one giant leap. I totally get it if you though oblivion was almost there but lacking just a little bit too much, then with Skyrim it actually got over your pain threshold and it got good. But form "Uh, this fucking suuuuucks!" to "Holy crap, i'm dumping ass because i'm so excited!" is just beyond me.

Visually it's incedibly mediocre, and when outdoors it's pretty crappy looking, typical bethesda game atm, complete with shit voice acting, uninteresting story(so far) and horrible animations. Faces look better tho. I'm sure i'll enjoy it more once it gets going and the loot starts flowing, but so far i'm pretty dissapointed, kinda wish i didnt trade battlefield...

Also, why is it when accidentally stealing an apple in one town, The guards then proceed to take every single item you've ever stolen even tho you took them from a town 100 miles away? How the fuck would they know the difference between a stolen helmet and an identical legitimately acquired one? If you manage to steel an item without alerting anyone, it should be yours to keep, if your caught stealing something then you should only have to return THAT item and pay the bounty fine. As it is it's retarded. It's like they've electronically tagged their weapons and armour or something.

Wow they dumbed this down A LOT for PC ..

Granted im playing with 360 pad, but I was still expecting more UI options than this -.-

I just got smacked 50 feet in the air by an ogre .. I thought I was guna shoot into outerspace there for a minute. (I died obviously)

Megido, you got to know that I played it at launch, during that time i wasent much into RPG as I am today.

The books are awesome in this game, got so many sidequest from them, and the caves all look fantastic and diverse.

About 6 hours in, absolutely loving it. Best game this year by a clear mile.

Regarding the Oblivion and Skyrim argument: the fundamental structure of the game remains consistent between the two, but Skyrim is so unbelievably more refined that I understand/appreciate how or why people could have such different opinions in relation to both titles.

Not for me though. I loved Oblivion, but I love Skyrim even more.

I am am also quite a few hours in, and it is absolutely amazing. I feel like I need to finish the main quest first, before I do anything else. If nothing else I wanna stop random dragon attacks every two seconds. I also expected much more from the Companions Guild... There is literally 3-4 quests, and it is very anti-climatic. It didn't even have a driving storyline like the fighters guild or mages guild in ob. That said, being a werewolf is FUCKIN' AWESOME.

Yep, game just keeps getting better and better! done about 15hrs and and still only 2 main story quest!, another 100plus hrs to go :D

With my rogue type character I picked up a novice destruction robe and I love it, with a hood.
As soon as I saw that and this scenery I had to take a image to show it.

Looks badass!

Why does mage suck so bad in this game... :(

Getting my ass handed to me cause no decent armor and very little HP ..

Game keeps crashing for me which is annoying because the auto save is kind of shit at best.

Oh the magic kicks ass, but i get hit so damn hard by stuff, I'm level 10 and all I have found which is of any use is Imperial leather gear with some echantments on it.

Not like im guna run around with Imperial Armour I don't have the stamina for it lol.

Has anyone completed the Golden Claw quest? Apparently I still have to 'find the owner of the golden claw', but not really sure where that is - no map indicator?
