Inscrit depuis 7555 JoursI do really enjoy playing it, but it's so inconsistent on so many levels.
Graphics;
First off I'm playing this game in 1920x1200, with all settings on the highest setting possible.
Textures look horrible and animations are still as stiff as all the previous editions of Elder Scroll games. I'm also disappointed with stuff they had shown in the trailers like the map (looks like shit and doesn't work as good as a normal 2d map) and how the items look in the inventory (I remember seeing a highly detailed piece of horker meat in one of the trailers), instead of the highly detailed items they all seem pretty low res to me..
BUT the thing that really impresses me is the amazing environments (most of the vista's are amazing, as are the forests and the snowy mountain area's) and most of the locations are dripping with atmosphere.. I also like that they have more varied dungeons this time(And thankfully they're not all pitch black).
GUI;
Seriously this was clearly designed for consoles. The favorites menu is just crappy and gets too long, too quick. The inventory is just a pile of shit, whoever came up with that needs to get the boot asap, because most of us on here could do a better job. I do like the skills menu but that's more regarding the looks than the usability.
Gameplay;
Well they obviously haven't changed a lot from oblivion (except for some of the slow-mo finishing moves and some combo's). I just hope they will incorporate some weapon feedback next time. That's still something that's missing.
I know I sound overly negative, but I still do enjoy this game for what it is! At least there's more than enough locations and quests to keep me busy for a LONG time...
