Is there some way of making a favorite of a set? So that the bloody game remembers what to put in both hands?

True, for me it's the first time i have just gone out and explored, letting the main story take a backseat, i find it such an amazing world to just go out and explore and have fun in.

I do have some issues with the game, Some of the side quest could have been a bit more interesting, and the companions could have had more intelligence, the Fav's Menu meh... but hay-ho you cant have everything and it in no way spoils my enjoyment in this game. The game is Beautiful and full of life, with diverse locations and great gameplay, and has that certain magic that the more i play it, the more i fall in love with it, nothing comes close to touching this for my GOTY this year.

Anyway enough wasting time, back to SKYRIM!!

It usually remembers if you designate the L/R, then select one of them with the select button (ie A on a 360 controller). For instance, if I select my steel sword after using the bow, it will also select the shield because that's what I had it paired with (works the same with magic too). I expect it mostly applies to switching between a two handed weapon and single...

I think it just remembered what you had in a given hand last if you leave it empty, going form a two handed to a one handed.

Nothing wrong with pointing out actual flaws. Better to recognize them and still enjoy the game than to go down on your knees and take it full in the face like some other people around here ;)
I don't think that's particularly fair. A lot of us still recognise that this game has flaws, but why should I personally have to dwell on them when I'm having such an awesome time with the game? It isn't perfect, no, but it's the most engrossing game I've played in a long time - with the potential to be right up there (bearing in mind that I am an absolute fantasy nut). Why should we be labelled as dillusional hyperbole-spouting maniacs just because we enjoy the game more than certain others around here?

I could take you for a bunch of grumpy cynics, but I don't. With a game as huge and absolutely open-ended as this, people are bound to have different experiences with it, like it to different extents and pick out different flaws from one another.

Can you do this if you are playing on a 360 pad because it seems if you have 360 pad selected it completely shuts off mouse and keyboard activity, how shit is that !

Did you even read his post!!???? at no point did he say to keep your opinions to yourself, he is saying that just because HE and others dont go on about the flaws in a game there having imense fun playing, Does not make them Skyrim Ass lickers!

And you guys should recognize that just because we're not hyperbole-spouting maniacs that we still like the game. ;) Hey, you're enthused. That's cool. I could spout hyperbole all day about Portal. I know it's a little over-the-top though. Hype friggin' rules around here though, that's for sure.

No idea.. It would be insane if there weren't some hotkey function on the pad too though. There is in Fallout.. right?

Unfortunately you use up/down on the d-pad to access the favorites, right to use a poison (quite randomly though? I have no idea how the game chooses what poison to use) and left don't do squat for me. There really isn't much open for binds :P

I lost mine and found her walking back to her starting position, It seems they have lives aswell, after being K.O'd like 4-5 times they die.

I wish they had a proper UI for party members also, you can't really tell their HP unless you move the cross hair over them and even then its not very reliable.

These are key characters. I doubt they can die.

If you've done Alduin's run, maybe you can advise. I misplaced Esbern and Delphine. HELP!

That would be great if these weren't important characters. Companions are also great at distracting people (and Frost Dragons) for archers!

Dragons are seriously not fun to fight at all. They fly around way too much and their attacks track entirely too well. Sorta more of a pain in the ass than anything. What's the point in giving me something as awesome as whirlwind sprint when it's useless when fighting a dragon? Oh, right, it's terrifically awesome in every other use.

So far i'm finding the Dragon battles Epic and allot of fun, i have put allot of points into archery and have a follower with me to keep it distracted while i hit it with arrows, your right they do track you a bit too well, but my biggest problem with them, is i cant find the fuckers!, only had 3 dragon fights so far :(

Well I've killed 10 and they're a fucking chore. I also can't have followers because I lost mine and no one else will follow me now (not including the two story NPC's which I also lost).

What difficulty level are you on? and how did you lose your followers? or do you mean killed?
