Huh? My game isn't broken... the magic resistance thing hasn't affected my version - don't know why - and I haven't had any other problems (although I saw a backward dragon on my playthrough yesterday, made me chuckle).

I can't pretend I have these problems if I don't actually have them.
Oh right.. you've got the one copy that works perfectly. If you downloaded the last patch I highly doubt your magic resistances are actually correct.

I think you just don't have a problem with a broken game.

From what I could tell my magic resistance hasn't been affected, but then it's not really something I've focused on in the game so maybe that's why I haven't really noticed it.

Crashed twice last night, once during play and other during load
on top of that one of my book shelves have broke :( i click on the shelf to activate it and nothing, i click on the books to read, and nothing :( like it does not exist

Oh by the way, incase no one has noticed, PS3 version still LAGS! will complete it with this char do what i can this week, send it back and get the 360 version and if that one is ok i will buy it then for that... shame.

perk "reduce fire/ice/shock dmg by 50% when blocking with shield"
i assume this is part of that new bug, because that don't work.. for SHIT!

I. LOVE. MODS. Even the little tweaks (tree-self-shadowing and AO for the WIN!) Also, naked and pretty face mods: All I know is I carry around a lot of extra armour and dungeons are filled with nekkid bodies, lol.... Man, I'm a pervert :)

3 lock ups again last night, 2 during play and 1 during load.

I find if the game is still running for 20 seconds after a load screen its fine, its all in that first 20 seconds after a load it can break (and the during load time)

Pissing me off, but, i love it and will continue until i have completed it.
Then get it for xbox..

Finished the main quest last night; overall I really enjoyed it.

Thought that, for an open world game, the story was really well paced and had some really cool moments. At one point I thought I was about to complete it and was ready to come on here and state why it was such a sudden, poor ending, but luckily it wasn't the end at that point! Oh, and the music kicking in when you walk through Sovengarde is just epic. :D

So yeah, thumbs up for the main quest. I think it's difficult for Bethesda to successfully craft their main storyline when there's so many other things/quests to do in the game, but they just about got it right in Skyrim for me.

Now, on to the civil war!

Thought the main quest felt very short and lacking the epic. it was b asically just learn to shout, find the scroll and kill Alduin. The end. Feels like there could have been a few more twists and turns in the story. I really don't think it was much better than Oblivion in terms of the main quest.

Meh, fair enough. I wasn't exactly expecting many twists and turns, was just hoping that it was epic enough in terms of scale/making you believe in your role as Dragonborn. I felt like it did enough in that regard.

Then again, I do love medieval fantasy. :P

Well, it's better paced than Fallout New Vegas, that's for sure.. granted.. I think NV has a lot more character than Skyrim still.

Most rpg main quest lines are short its all the side quest and exploration, that give you the main meat of the game.

I'm still trucking through the main story and I have plowed more than 15hrs into it (other 50rs all side quest stuff) and I'm about half way through the main story according to a mate, so it's still chunky enough for me.

because i was returning my disk (lovefilm) to try out the 360 version (which since i have changed my mind, so will be buying it from gamestation the weekend) i just wanted to complete the main quest to see the "ending" before it went back, so my starting point was the "find the guy in riften" (had done the other bits and bobs prior which doe snot take long anyway)
second i found the guy in riften, there was probably 1-2 hours play to complete it.. but recall i have unlocked a majority of the map, so fast traveling cut a lot of time up.

The main quest probably took me about 20 or so hours to complete, so I guess it differs based on how much you space it out and how quickly you get things done.
