GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

Our second batch of videos captured with our newly acquired GTX 1080 will focus on two games which had performance issues at launch. No need to dtail the Batman: Arkham Knight fiasco once again, since the game didn't even run perfectly smoothly after its second release, especially for those who owned an SLI (the game didn't support it...). The case of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is clearly different, as The Chinese Room cannot be compared with Warner Brothers and Rocksteady in terms of budget and manpower. That being said, it was still surprising to see how poorly it performed on high end systems, forcing players to tone down some more demanding settings. Even last week the latest SLI profile from Nvidia didn't allow to max out all settings and maintain 60 fps. As you can see, things have changed for both games thanks to the new GTX.

GSY Review PC PS4

After a summer release on PS4, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is back on PC and will be available to all tomorrow. The guys at The Chinese Room were kind enough to send us a review code to get you some nice videos before the game ships, so here they are with an updated version of our review. We have had a few performance issues as you'll see and read, but the overall experience remains good provided you don't absolutely want to max out the game. More details inside.
PC used for review: i7 6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 Go RAM (DDR4), Windows 10, SLI Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 Gigabyte OC.

GSY Review PS4

Following Dear Esther and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, the sequel to Frictional Games original horror experience, The Chinese Room's third game, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, is finally upon us – this time on PlayStation 4. For those familiar with its previous work, the pace and design of the game will come as no surprise but, for others, we invite you to take a look inside this curious, contemplative game.
Note: As usual, the review is spoiler-free guaranteed as we never mention anything about the main plot.
Update: Two FPS analysis videos added to understand why the game doesn't always feel smooth.

This open-world adventure takes place in Yaughton Valley in June 1984 and deals with people's life and the end of the world and the more you explore the more you dive into the game's world.
