If we had been told we would have fun playing Kinect Sports Rivals, we probably would have had a hard time believing it, but against all odds we did. That being said, that is mainly true for two of the available sports, namely the jet ski and rock climbing events, which clearly are the most fun of the bunch. The other four are unfortunately quite disappointing because of some latency issues or the displeasing feeling that we're on auto-pilot and not in control - the shooting and bowling events being the ones we have in mind. You'll also need quite a bit of room if you want to play correctly, which is not something all gamers have at home. Fun but still highly perfectible is what will probably remain of this new episode in the Kinect Sports series.
