Oooh, Profound, isn't it?
PC gaming's posture keeps you on your toes too. None of that sissy reclining crap for me.
Hail to the king, baby!
I'm concerned about the knife in this game. It looks slow. I wish there were a way to disable the lunge animation all together. If that were the difference between equipping it and using the hotkey that may make that option worth looking at.
That's not console bashing. I like consoles plenty. I don't currently own any current generation consoles, having sold my PS3 and having killed my Xbox (and subsequently brought it back to life twice so far), but I'll need another by Q1 2011 for Street Fighter X Tekken and SC5. There are still things I want in that space too.
Hail to the king, baby!
Fucking awesome flying that bomber and dropping off your class mates ehm TEAM mates

But whatever. Do what ya want.
but that's been the case with PC games since i can remember, they have the odd games that justifies having the best graphics card on the market, but then no other release really takes advantage of it. if a game was released every other month that was a graphical powerhouse like crysis 1 WAS, and crysis 2 currently is, and how battfield WILL be, then sure, i'd see the point in upgrading, but until that happens i'll stick to the version with less visual bells and whistles, but plays exactly the same.
Tons and tons of console games run at sub 30-fps and sub-HD resolutions. Are you saying that pumping up the performance and visuals in those games isn't a big deal? Sure, not every game has BF3-level system requirements, but you could just as easily target superior performance in stuff like Batman or Skyrim, and get superior input options (note: options!) too! Hell, Bad Company 2 is so much better on the PC as is! Hell, so are tons and tons of other ports. That's why this position is retarded. No one.. no one.. builds a PC for one game, realistically, any more than a person buys a console for one game. The content is there.
LOL.. plays the same.

you need a console for those crappy games omg. SF4 is so bad(button input) so SFXT wont be better. KOF13 will be way better. or BB3. but i guess those games have not good enough grafic for you, right?

If a bad game is released on your cutting edge gaming rig, you wouldn't blame your own hardware for a developers' short comings. The exact opposite happens with consoles. If a game has sub-par graphics and performance then it is immediately assumed that the console is what held the developer back. Even in the face of examples like the titles you mentioned for PS3.
For me it comes down to motivation. Some games (like BF3) are worth the needed upgrade to enjoy them fully, but not everyone feels that way.
And your fighting game (and graphics) rant is equally lolworthy but I don't need to go there.

Why? Well, because other features (controls, severs, mods, and the competition community) keep me squarely interested in PC shooters when I have the opportunity. If I still had a PS3, I'd probably play KZ3 too, and I happen to be a pretty dang big Halo fan.
This is also why games are rarely a challenge anymore as well.
That's merely my opinion of course.
However what is fact: the mouse and keyboard has the advantage every time. This debate has been around since as long as I can remember. It shouldn't even be debated though. Mouse and keyboard = precision
Bah whatever. Let's actually talk about BF3, it's more interesting than this BS anyway.
