Well Grift you got your mind set then :)

You guys know how much you can sprint?
Since I saw how great the sprint was in motion on Crysis, I want all FPS games to have the sprint ;)

Well I for will go with the 360 because I am much better on the controls, especially with the 360 controls and just sitting relaxed on a couch or whatever that is soft on my ass and play focused.

I have even made a playlist on my iPod with all the greta tracks from soundtracks such as COD4 demo tracks, The Rock, Black Hawk Down, GRAW2, Crysis...etc. so when I am going to play, I can feel the intensity ;)

PS. that freaking EOTech scope is AWESOME, combine that with a M4 Carbine you got yourself a nice weapon ;)

From what i played we can sprint as long as we want. We dont get tired. :)

Maybe they got some of those new nano fibers in their clothings :P
Most sprint moves you can do makes you just run fast to some extend, this one, well it seems unlimited.
Shit, you can even customize to have bigger stamina too keep up, but It hink thats the health thingy.

God I want this game now!

No your sprint isn't forever

You can sprint full for about 20 secs, then it builds back up, just you cant really tell at all as theres no indication to how tired you are, no meter not even the sound of your own breathe.

Well the sprint just be limited considering there is no sci-fi stuff in this game and has to make it as realistic and fun at the same the time.

Kind of a bummet you can see a meter or the breathing to know how much you can sprint, but I guess it doesnt matter because this isn't the olympics :P

My mistake, was just playing demo again and we cant sprint forever, but we can run long distances. Sorry for bad info :)

You definitely get tired eventually.. but you can sprint pretty far. Like Sheps said there's no stamina indicator. But I see this has been covered :P

I made up my mind before I had tried both versions. For serious online play it's PC all the way for me. Halo is probably the only FPS I'll play on consoles all year... and maybe then some. The difference is that Halo is extremely well adapted to that environment and just doesn't feel right w/ a mouse and keyboard anyway. KB+M just puts an emphasis on Halo's slow and floaty movement, whereas the on a gamepad it just feels.. right.

Well Grift som people do like PC for online and its "controls" more than on consoles.
I for one have a very sucky PC thats lags of its own now and then, so its a dream come true even if it can run Call of Duty for 10 minutes :D haha

So console and controls are for me, cheap way to enjoy next-gen gaming ;)

A SP demo would be great on 360 or PS3, doesn't matter, just let me play it a bit when I want until the full game is out :)

If you like action and you like FPS.. you won't be disappointed. It's pretty much got everything.

I LOVE warfare intensity action such as Black Hawk Down and action flicks like the Rock, and I love FPS, only if it is executed well, which this game is done greatly.

The bonus side of it is the soundtrack for this game!

Harry Gregson-Williams is the composer, so it has that big blockbuster movie feel to it, like Metal Gear Solid has ;)

PS. Do you remember Grift when we talked about me not getting the 360 version because PS3 has the free online and I didn't have the money to get Gold account...well its quite ironic that not that COD4 is out early next month and I got the Gold account...I am getting the 360 version :)

Yea.. I think you made a good choice too personally. You can really get some additional legs out of that gold account too if you ever decide to bite on the Halo.. which despite my constant criticism I do believe is the best console centric FPS available. Let's try not to derail this topic though.. I'm just say'n.. there's more content out there for that gold account than just this one game.

It's cheap anyway.. I pay more for GameTap which I barely use.

my fav thing about this game is the death animation combined with the ragodoll physics...its sweeeeeet.

Well I never said that I disliked the online on 360, i love it, but the fact you gotta pay for it is a bit a bummer, while PS3 uses free online.
I am not gonna get Halo, don't like it at all.

But the fact I spend months and months of customizing and ranking up on Rainbow Six Vegas I think COD4 will have a huge impact on me :D
I read that the beta ranking system stopped at 16, and the fact that this has around 65 and you can customize the shit out of your weapons, and your characters camo its awesome...not only that but the intensity and th very good shooting mechanics makes it better.

Now I haven't played it, but from what I keep eharing, and all I videos and interviews I keep watching and reading is just great.

I would have gotten GRAW 2 as well if it wasen't for that clunkny controls and animations that make you go places you don't want to go.

Man.. how many times do we have to go over this? You don't customize your characters camo. You customize your GUNS camo. You don't customize your character models at all. You only customize your guns, and your perks.

But don't let that scare you away.. 'cause it's a much better game than R6, and GRAW.. combined.

Well he said "you can customize your camo", didn't say specificly weapon or character, although weapon is confirmed.

The beta didn't even let you rank up as much as the advanced ones.
In my knowledge its like what 65 level max, and beta had like what was it, 16?
Big difference there from the unlockables.

But I don't care about character looks in this game anyways, just give me my M4 Carbine and EOTech and let me modify it SOPMOD and its all good.
