Forza 2 really is a massive leap in terms of everything, not just visuals like GTHD.

Yeh the physics in Rallisport are pretty avg at best, the handling is solid but the cars feel like toys racers. Forza 1's physics are much better, and Forza 2 is leagues ahead.

Basically they had an issue with the demo during cert. and it has been delayed...che said that he wants to say it will be out this week.....but he cant. So no demo yet. He did say the actual game went through cert. ok though so at least thats a sure thing

There's always been a lot of interest. When Forza came out, there were countless "GT4 vs. Forza vs. PGR2" discussions. What's funny is that a sim racer should be about the last type of game you'd expect to generate so much discussion; I guess people find it easy to do comparisons with something so familiar (cars, which we see every day).

Indigo, you do realize that one of the most popular games last gen was a sim racer(GT sold over 10M copies, right up there with GTA3) and that the best of the best sell very well? Even FM1 has broken the 2M mark. You make it sound as if it is an unpopular genre.

As for FM2, the graphics don't seem to have received their last minute shackling of paint and missing features (bloom and aliasing can be horrible). But having watching a looong video at 60fps I can confirm it is silky smooth and looks technically sound. Should be a great sim.

lol @ comments about RC2 only having 4 cars compared to Forza's 8 when RC2 is 60fps and Forza 30fps... what happened to 60fps being all important and being "ok" with the reduction of the number of cars to hit that target. How standards change to defend a game.

Wishlist: PGR4 with a FF wheel, 2K Legends Football, and Halo 3 with an XFPS controller. And I can dream that Halo Wars will be a Battlezone PC clone...

Yeah, they cut a lot of originally announced features, but I still want to check demo before deciding whether or not it's worth buying (I want CMR Dirt demo too, as I want to buy one of these two) - too bad certification takes sooo long.:/

Hehe one could say that the 60fps argument didn't save Forza 2 from the barage it received in PGR3 comparisons so what are the chances of it saving RC2? I'd say very slim.

People want graphics and they wanted them yesterday. Anyway

GT3 sold around 14million(believe it's the top selling PS2 title now). GT4 sold around 6million, however those sale numbers are from back in 2005. No idea where they stand now. Those numbers also include the bundle sales, as well.

What would be the point of closing the FM2 thread Plumb/mods? That doesn't end the problem if all we have to do is make another one. It's the intolerance of others to opinions, and if we are all going to Gamersyde, we better start trying to find what the priorities are. If we can't compare games at all without being called a moron.......

Whoa, very nice, thanks I especially loved the recommendation there telling me what I should do. There are some funny ones though, like someone told me I actually don't deserve to buy this game.

On gamersyde, people will bring more games cross-platform and even more comparisons, does that mean there will be no forums at all because every thread will get locked? That's something to think about, just my opinion.
