If we had a games media worth the elevated opinion of itself somebody would have asked him the question, why did you say X when you clearly had IWnet in the works. Sadly we don't or those that would like to ask that question know that it's just not worth their while.

Best MW2 news today: It's dropped two more places on Steam's top sellers list! Debuted at the #5 spot, briefly surpassed Dragon Age to take #3, dropped down to #5 again, and now it's #7 behind ArmA2 and Killing Floor! I still suspect it might eventually make it to the top of the list, but this game should have debuted at #1. Thank god some people have more sense than they do money in the bank. RIP Call of Duty, it was nice knowing ya!

And yes, I know COD isn't dead, it's just been reborn: Infinity Wallet's Casual of Duty: Console Warfare 2.

The same guy just broadcasted the first level of the game.

This happened: MASSIVE CAMPAIGN SPOILERS!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing this is the scene that deftangel was talking about.

You are in an elevator with Makarov and two other men. You all are equipped with LMG's and AR's with Grenade Launchers. You and your men walk out of the doors and slowly through an airport, mowing down over a hundred civilians - the rest of the group sprinting up some stairs to shoot down those trying to escape. You then move outside to the tarmac where you are greeted by Russian SWAT teams, you massacre them and move inside a storage area of the airport where your men jump into a Russian SWAT van - as you are getting in you toss Makarov your weapon and he shoots you in the face. You drop to the ground, hand twitching, a pool of blood forming in front of you. The van speeds off and a SWAT team swarms your position. Fade to black. The next mission loading screen features a red symbol and the letters "C.I.A." above it.

And then IW got justin.tv to ban him like 2 seconds after he stopped broadcasting. lol

this. if they increase the price even slightly then i'm out, cod is the only thing i'll be playing on live anyway and it just isnt worth it on its own.

If they hike the live price I will be sooo pissed. I would be tempted to say "fuck off" but shooters on xbox live are so much better due to the PSN problems I always have. Damn thing has connection errors way too often.

I'd hate to pay more on principle alone, but it's just such a better way to play games online.
That said, I HIGHLY doubt MS would be stupid enough to risk losing so many customers.

I have said before here and I will say it again. Matchmaking have been the worse and most missused future on games this generation. It ruined Halo 3 for me, it ruined Gear of war 2, and now it will ruined Modern warfare 2.

Matchmaking is not for pc game and it should stay out of it.
Dedicate servers FTW.

So I saw a list of all the perks and the killstreak rewards. There is some ridiculous stuff in there. For 25 kills you get a tactical nuke which wipes out everyone on the map including the person who uses it.

Im pretty sure You cant disable it, at least not in ranked matches. I can already see bazylions of kids camping just to get this streak lol. What sucks is that even when You are quite good player U may loose the match quite fast only because Your team sucks. We can only hope that 25+ streaks wont be that easy as in first MW.

Well, the other kill streak bonuses' kills count towards your streak, so, yes.. especially now that you can control the helo.
