It really does look quite cool. Any word on potential MP stuff? Are they keeping their mouths shut? Has anyone actually bothered to ask?

I'd be happy with a reskinned Spies vs Mercs pulled directly out of SC:PT/CT. An announcement of that would have just been epic fucking win.

Just saw the extended video OMG!!!

That feature showing you what your last known position is in incredible and something that every stealth title should mimic :D

It's the fan in me talking, but I can't help but feel the potential for an MGS title with these mechanics :D

I'm going to love that mark and execute feature as well as that last known location one. I'm going to literally abuse those :D

Meh, I wanted to watch the extended video but given Ubisoft's dumb decision of forcing registration, I skipped it.

Now, I haven't commented on it yet, but I this game is looking hot. When Ubi tries they achieve. Time, money, talent = great game. I think this is looking to be another hit like Splinter Cell and Chaos Theory were. They should simply STOP doing the "in-between cash ins" such as Pandora Tomorrow and Double Agent--good games, but they don't live up to others' standards.

The only thing I'm bothered with is that auto aim feature....
It is limited use and you can't just shoot around corners with it, so you'll use it to make an entrance to a fight but have to do it yourself from there. Far less automated than the tag then "bang/flash and clear" options from Rainbow Six for example, which can often leave you with nothing to do, and much like that you can do the whole thing yourself if you want to.

Sam is a killing machine on one last mission with no government ethics to stop him and I think these changes influence that.

It has been confirmed that there is MP. We don't know if it's co-op, SvM(please God!), or something else entirely though.

Same as the Mercs from the previous games I would imagine. Plus I would imagine Sam does not go without help throughout the whole game, and if he uncovers a big bad conspiracy then the MP could be the infiltration and disruption of their assets.

It doesn't bother me that much.. not every game is about precision aiming, after all.

I want it to post here just to say that I didn't think it will look this good,somehow I was distracted with AC2,Bayonetta and the new trailer of Castlevania that I completly missed the gameplay and I must say that I was blown away by it.

I was a fan of Splinter cell the original but I didn't play his sequels do you think I will be lost if I play this without knowing the story of the other ones?


Either way I can't wait for this.

Not at all. The story in the splinter cell series jumps all over the place. Thanks in part to the milking of the franchise.
