Ps3 is sharper, but 360 has moving shadows on this video and ps3 does not.. i am sure i have been watching moving shadows on the ps3 version..
i dunno i might get it for 360 if its more stable, but no one is really confirming if it is or not..

Also i have that mask that gives you 100% faster magika regen and fr0sty has same issue as me (and he is on 360) its visually sound once you get it, but the second you power down and reload the game, your face just vanishes.. i look like the headless horseman.. pretty cool lol

Its weird because I did this the first time I got it and it didnt work but now it does, ah well, its good to see all the details now. Those gloves!!! :P
But me being very sick (got the cold, got a bit better today. I hate watery nose and eyes, thank god no more!) in the past 2 days I still played Skyrim but decided to give my warrior build some game time (was in mood for melee).
I have to say, using so much magic and not be able to upgrade my regular spells pisses me off to have the same nonsense levels from the getgo.
But good thing I have various builds saves so I can go back and forth for different play styles, right now its all about melee and finishers lol
The finishers are sweet, and I love the one-handed weapon designs (Dwarven War Axe + Elven Sword = awesome).
The finishers are the only thing satistfying...in first person only.
Seriously though, if you like it, kudos :)
Let me ask you, have you maxed out your one handed skilltree? Maybe thats why its better than low level?
It's definitely a flawed combat system, but it's a lot of fun.

And tbh, I am getting REALLY bored with mage as well. The level of the spells is not changing whatsoever after so many damn hours and useage.
I am still using my silly Novice and Apprentice levels of fireballs and flame and lightning, its just boring that I dont feel like progressing to get high and more chaotic type of powers, unless I find scrolls.
And once scrolls are used, and its a goner and forces me to to find in rare places to keep buying them.
Skyrim is the only RPG at this moment that is holding my RPG mood cooled until Kingdom of Amalur shows up in February, that title has the combat perfected for a RPG so thats is more my type.

But the actuall spells is not leveling whatsoever, it still says Novice and Apprentice on some.
The only Adept I have is Frostbite or whatever its called.
Like I said, it doesnt feel like I am progressing through my magic the more I use at all. Its not like melee were the more you use the more strength and ability you gain from it, and you can tell somewhat the difference.
I am seriously not enjoying the combat so much at all, only thing makes me go back is the actual art and music which I think is the best part of the game. And to be able to manually go to the highest peak of the blizzardy mountains and seeing the dragons roam in the air and making sounds, thats about it really.

Oooh, Profound, isn't it?

I truly admire your passions to look the other way around, I wish I had the same mentality :P

About the archery, So you want me to play a re-skinned shooter!? I dont think so :P
That is IF I can do some rapid archery like Legolas, then sure I am all for it.
Not only that, but I find the aiming/look stiff so its hard to do quick and precise aiming (360).

But then when I keep leveling up so much even after level 29 and use so much of the same weapons and add new perks to higher skilltree to the point it doesnt change a single thing in the combat from my low level stats when I started then of course I grow tired of it.
Only ones I can mention that cares for combat as much as the rest of the game is Witcher 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur.
I get that the melee combat can feel floaty, and it sucks that spells don't really level up and the magic system is super simple, but I don't get how you can use Kingdoms of Amalur as an exmample of RPG combat you're looking forward to. Looks like generic X,X,Y third-person action game combat...and not the good kind like NG or Bayo.

I don't know, that could be it.

Because spamming the dumb triggers isnt generic spamming? right, lol.
Atleast the combat is a true combat for a RPG, no matter how much you spam a certain button, enemies react each time you hit them.
It's just funny that you guys would get VERY defensive when people would make comments about you just wanting action game combat in your RPGs, but here you are, both excited for....action game combat in your RPG.
