I've received a lot of message asking me to put online the awesome ending video of Dead or Alive 4, so there it is. Needless to say that it's much better to discover it by yourself when playing the game, but I'll let you decide if you should watch it or not !

Ever since the first screenshots released the last E3, Dead or Alive 4 has always been at the center of a big controversy. Is it really a next generation game, or just an upgrade from Dead or Alive Ultimate? Well, it's a bit of both. While graphically it could certainly have been better, I think the gameplay changed enough to warrant the 4 in the game's title. I just wish Team Ninja took the time to rework the lighting and shadowing system of their engine. Otherwise, this is a great game !
I've used a brand new deinterlacing method for this video, allowing me to do a 856x480 video at 60 fps. Consider this as a test and let me know what you think of the quality !

Dead or Alive 4 is finally available in Asia, so Ruliweb already did a few videos of the game. So enjoy the realtime intro video, and a few fights, mirrored here since the korean servers are quite slow for a lot of people.

The TV channel Nippon TV, one of the biggest in Japan, was at the Zero Hour Xbox 360 launch event a few hours ago and already broadcasted this one minute long feature. It's all in japanese of course (except Peter Moore), but it's still a good way to see for ourselves what this event was about, and certainly a good thing to see that the japanese mainsteam press is talking a bit about Xbox 360.

New week, new batch of Famitsu Weekly Dead or Alive 4. Without Team Ninja it seems no one would know that Xbox 360 will be released in Japan in about one month. Scary.

The big marketing campaign for Dead or Alive 4 in Japan has finally started, with nothing less than 4 different new ads in a week. Also worth mentioning, in the second image you'll notice a confirmation of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, Dead or Alive: Code Cronus and the still very secret Project Progressive.
