Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

I don't think that anyone would argue that the game is perfect yet. It's still friggin great though. If you want to find an honest, no bullshit game of BF3, you can. You may have to look a little harder for it, but you can. The fact that people swarm to Metro in the first place is almost a bigger problem. Also, the everyday implications of this glitch are actually worse in my opinion. The team switch thing is awful, but the persistence of C4 in general is a problem. You know what's even worse? Stupid server settings. Instant vehicle spawn breaks the balance of so many maps, but like the Metro nonsense, plenty of people crowd those servers as well.
And yet.. it's still quite easy to find great games of BF3. Battlefield has never been perfect.. but it's always been great.
But bring on the patch. This is one of many actual BS things it will fix. I'm still quite uneasy about the laser guidance stuff and the attachment modifications, but I'm anxious to play it.

Inscrit depuis 7017 JoursThere are already 13 maps, and I think a lot of them are really solid. My favorite sandbox maps are Kharg, Caspian, and Firestorm.. and then all four of the Karkand maps. I also love Bazaar (Best Battlefield infantry combat period) and quite like Seine. That leaves about three that I mostly don't care for, although I've had some great games on Canals and Tehran Highway too.
Honestly.. if you don't like this game.. it's probably not because it's broken. It's probably that you just don't like the game. Alternatively, you may need more people too. This game really comes alive with a proper squad.

Rather than trying to argue with people who are convinced that this game is both horrible and dead, I want to continue encourage people who are playing (or who are interested in playing) to check out rivaLxfactor's youtube feed. It's a great resource for anyone who is actually interested in learning to play, rather than bitching and blaming their horrible performance on lag/hax (instead of their shitty accuracy, awareness and general lack of knowledge).

Operation Firestorm = boring
The orange canals map = boring
Grand Bazaar = boring
Sharqi peninsula = boring (didn't like this one in BF2 either)
Wake = boring (I really wanted to like this but it's just not the same, I think they made it a bit too vertical)
Karkand = boring (played this a lot in BF2 but don't care about it now)
Kharg Island = boring
Damavand Peak = crap map
Tehran Highway = this one is ok, I really like the rush version
Gulf of Oman = fun
Metro = Fun map
Seine Crossing = fun
caspian = fun (lots of places to hide, place landmines, good map)
After putting in 130+ hours, I am done with this game.
Inscrit depuis 7017 JoursInfantry combat is the best in the series and vehicle combat is as good as only DICE can seem to make it. The game is very good. I'd say to try playing it with a full squad, since it's much better that way, but hey.. I don't think you want to like Battlefield 3, so why bother? Cartoony feel? What the fuck?

TL;DR: The game is great. Hardcore and rush typically suck. It just doesn't suite your tastes so go find something that does and quit whining about it already.

Inscrit depuis 7017 JoursThere are dozens and dozens of populated HC servers with open slots right now, there were earlier too. Very few servers develop their own community in any game. There are certainly still servers that are almost always packed in BF3, they're just not the ones you arbitrarily added to your favorites list. If this game is dead than online gaming is dead. There are plenty of games with far fewer players than BF3 that still have viable communities.
And hey, I can get picky at times too. There are very few people who play infantry only, which I quite like, but I'm not saying the game is dead because of it. That would be silly.

But if you've put some time into this game and you've abandoned it, you probably just don't like it. In that case it's a little cyclical to continue to bitch about it. I've expressed my concern over frequently playing with game balance, I've bitched extensively about specific bugs and flaws, both here and on battlelog. I know this game aint perfect. Try and find me one that is.
Inscrit depuis 6359 JoursAs far as personally playing? Yes, the reason why I haven't played in 2 months has to do with 600 ping servers ^ as mentioned, let alone HC mode servers that are playable. I can take some screens if you want? But I'm quite sure from your history of DICE can do no wrong, or undercutting severity, it would be of no use...
If you would like to talk about all the positives about the game we can do that to, I was unaware of the rules the dictator of this topic set in place, and I can shift gears if needed. I was under the impression forums were for debate, not just bullet timing people we differ opinions with.
In short, no matter how much we stroke each other off about how the game is in our opinion, it will not bring the players back. The only ones who can do this is DICE. People who enjoy the game for different reasons than I, play on different servers, and play differently than I. Therefore, if the game is limiting you to something you do not play, what is it?

I played it until they broke it. I'll have you know I loved it, and so did the many others who left. Then they made the game for people who generally suck, and those of younger age. Why they chose to make the poor changes to the game and not focus on the bugs and exploits is not something I can answer. I've theories though.

That was, however, never the point. The game is so far from dead it aint funny. It doesn't need the players to "come back," the player bleed is well within normal margins for a game this big.
Has anyone been bouleted here? Debate? LOL. Running in circles isn't debate. The game has issues. Many of them are already being addressed (many of the ones you bring up are in the list for the upcoming patch), and it will continue to be imperfect after the update as well. There will always be something for you to bitch about it. Feel free to continue to do so. I don't give a shit.
And it's far from ridiculous for me to want people to actually talk about the game and not just friggin' bitch and moan about how endlessly broken and unfixable it is. If you really believe that, then there's nothing more to discuss.. and if you really wanted discussion, there's better ways to approach that than being a douche about everything. I should know.
I've agreed on a lot of the complaints about this game. I'll continue to have plenty of my own. Hell, on Battlelog I've done more bitching than praising. Here I seem to be the only person who actually likes the game.

Watching xfactor's streams has me itching for competition. My clan is exceptionally lazy sometimes. I think I'm going to start ringing for other teams so I can get some match xp, even if it's just for 4v4 Squad Rush. I'm running into some resistance starting a 4v4 ladder team, since everyone is more interested in 8v8's. That'd be great, if we had the numbers to field a solid 8v8 team. We totally don't and no body is even trying to recruit. I'm missin' out on the best part of this game.
